Default MSD 6425 to 6471 Wiring Differences

I currently have an 6AL (6425) box install on my 1986 Toyota Pickup with a 22R motor. I just received my 6 Offroad (6471) box. Are there are any differences in wiring between the two besides the 6425's pair of looped wires that are for the Cylinder # selection. All the rest of the wiring looks identical between the two, as well as the connector itself.

It'd be nice to be able to just swap out the boxes and not have to wire in the connector that came with the 6471.

Does anyone from MSD even monitor this forum?

Despite what MSD tech told me over the phone there are no pinout differences that would cause a short of the 6471 by using my previous wiring from my 6425 especially since the cylinder select loops on the connector in my truck are already cut.

    All pau!
