    Sounds like a mismatch.
Proves you should always look at how parts go together for airflow match before final assembly.
Probably airflow vibrating like a reed.

Is there ANYWHERE in writing where they say you should or shouldn't use it with a single or dual plane intake? When I was doing my research all I saw was that it'll work and bolt up with any standard square bore intake manifold... It wasn't until I watched a youtube video of a competitor's EFI where they specifically call out that it should be used with a single plane that I started wondering if maybe it was my manifold that I was fighting the final bit of tuning on. This very strange noise that seems to have gone away was a side affect...

I think that is something a MSD tech should address.

I have seen spacers create funny noises.

Spoke too soon, noise was back again today. This weekend I'm going to actively try to reproduce it while recording to see if I can catch something on film... Pain in the butt though! Hasn't made the noise in a few weeks. This morning it lasted longer then it ever has though and I bet it ran the motor up to 2000+rpm in the process until it stopped.

    Runs amazing though still!

Please give us a call to go over your set up and see what we can do to address this noise issue.

    Thank you
