Default Help distrubutor rotors 8470 that burns

Hello I introduce myself I am ledams66 I live on the island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean. I am a 550 spyder replica processor with a 2332cc vw Beetle,

I mounted a MSD 6AL + MSD Pro Distrubutors ticket + blaster ignition MSD.

The car starts well, 10 minutes later the car is out of order.

The new rotor is burned, I tried to change but it burns every time. I do not know what to do because everything is well connected. Thanks for your help.

Are you sure the coils positive and negative, are not backwards?

The spark is punching through the rotor to ground.
Are you running any form of programmable ignition, MSD 6530, CB Black Box etc?
    Time to check rotor phasing.
    Regards

Also with the rotor phasing the checking of the wires going to the coil, make sure the spark plug wires resistances levels are not to high and if you have aluminum heads that they are both grounded.

Also check the polarity of the magnetic trigger wires. If they are reversed the rotor phasing will be affected.

Drill in a large hole in the distributor cap, run the engine with a timing light to check rotor phasing.
Are you sure the magnetic trigger wires are wired correctly?
