Default EFI memory if battery is disconnected

Does the unit have a flash memory to remember all of my settings if I disconnect the battery?

Think of it as your cellphone.
When the battery goes dead. You don't loose the information on it.
But. If you had a program running funny on it. It "restarts" it.

This is why for some electronics. You hear about removing the battery to "restart" it. So some people think that removing the battery from a EFI system, will erase it's "stored" settings. This is not the case. It will remember them.

The settings in the MSD Atomic are stored in non-volatile memory. If you make changes just check you see the pouring down message on the Atomic display during key off. If you need to disconnect the battery it remember your settings and the learning updates when the battery is reconnected again.
