I installed a moon cross ram manifold on a stock 1969 SBC and had to grind off parts of the distributor cap to allow some room to adjust timing. The original distributor has the tach drive, which further complicates the distributor orientation. What I'd really like is an HEI, with tach drive, but again, it would need to be smaller than the stock distributor.. The setup I have suggests HEI and a hotter spark/coil. I'd be willing to eliminate the tach drive and upgrade to electronic, this scenario just adds $$. I can provide more information if needed.. Any suggestions? and Thanks
